Hi there - what a fantastic idea - I must admit I never heard of a blog before in my life -
Tara - cannot believe that you are old enough now to be Form Captain - that's amazing. Do you know that Constantina also loves the colour pink - it drives me insane because every morning before school I have to get pink panties, pink towel, pink shampoo, pink cream, pink clothes PINK PINK PINK - today she went to school and there was only PINK paint.
You look really great and we are all thinking about you - Stavros had another operation last week (hernia) - Not as big as your operation but just like you he is tough and a really fighter ! We will read the blog page every day for an update. Always thinking about you and remember that you are very special and there are few little girls in the world who could have done what you have done so far : You are our little inspiration in the land of OZ!

Thank you for inviting us to have a look at the blog for Tara. Firstly I must say that reading all the updates and where you are at now has been a humbling experience to say the least. What a brave girl Tara is and so positive about her journey ahead, we could all take leaf out of her book. I can see her going from strength to strength and giving courage to those who will have the pleasure of being in her presence. As parents and sisters you deserve an enormous amount of credit because no child could be that prepared unless she had, had the love,support, guidance and care of a very special family. Please forgive me for my ashamedly poor understanding of the net and blogs,I was able to go in and read it all but don't know how to continue from there, hopefully I can learn and be a better participant. I will however remain updated by going into Tara's blog. Tell her from us we will keep her in our thoughts and prayers and in our book she is a star! Jenny, Tony and your beautiful family, you will also be constantly in our prayers. I also can't begin to imagine how terribly hard this is for all of you, but the new 'cousin leggie' will I am sure in time become Tara's best friend.

We are absolutely and highly excited to hear from you.We are too stupid to use the blog but we are trying to work it out.We in south Africa cannot forget the great holiday we had in Greece with u last year and we want to thank you and your sisters and of course your beautiful mother and naughty father for sharing some of your valuable time with us.We are hoping that you and all those you love have a wonderful 2008.Further we know that u are somebody very special as we could all see that special sparkle you have in those beautiful large eyes of yours.And of course we all wish we had your beautiful,soft curly hair and those glamorous,sexy looks of yours.

Got on the Tara blog right away, think its a brilliant idea. Just as soon as Katia gets a moment she wants to get right on it. I think you are all pretty damned amazing, rallying around and being so united as a family (only way to go anyway), but mostly I think you need to be really proud of Tara. Told you when I met her that she was special. And it turns out she is. Hope the fortnight leading up to the amputation helps you prepare yourselves. I don't think its going to be anything less than traumatic but I also think that you are all going to cope the way you always have, with courage and strength. Will be thinking of you and hope to chat. Keep us posted. Also could you just confirm, will the amputation be below or above the knee? I thought I understood that she needs to keep it straight after the op cos if she bends the knee she may lose her ability to ever walk.

I read the blog your mom has put up for you with such interest. I am so glad there is a way we can all follow this amazing journey you are on with leggy loo.
I love the photos - you always seem to be laughing your head off. Tatiana and George and I will read it regularly and please tell us when your actual operation is too.
Its lovely to see your leg out of the cast . Tricky that your class room is upstairs but you know, if I were mom, I'd ask them to move your classroom downstairs for a while.
That would not be so tricky surely - if all your friends helped carry one or two things to move classrooms around. Just until your new leggy loo (what are we going to call new leggy?) is more steady
So big kiss to you and well done for being so positive! We're gonna be reading about your interesting journey, and even if we are not there in person, you must know you are right in your minds and hearts all the time!

I think you are a clever, brave and very pretty girl. I have been thinking about you a lot. After you say goodbye to Leggy loo I wondered if you would like to do some drawings with me about your experience. I also thought maybe we could send a crocodile in to bite that doctor on the bum - oops sorry bottom.
