From Tara...

Hello everybody
I would like to tell you some things.
Last week it was book fair and on Friday a man called Mana from Polynesia came to do a show. IT WAS AMAZING!
This week I went to get my leg measured. Every week a girl in my class gets to push me. Next Monday it is my day and I am so EXCITED!
Thanks bye.

Thanks for that comment, Tara. It's nice to hear from you! It's a long bank holiday weekend here and we're planning to go to a funfair with Jaspar & Ava. I'll tell you how it goes next week.

Big love and hugs,
Filipa

Dear Tara,
You know I check your blog all the time and the fantastic thing about it is I feel I'm almost there with you not only because I can now picture everything but also because you all write so well. What I sometimes forget though is you can't see me, so here I am reminding you...YOO HOOO!

How cool that everyone gets a turn to push you at school. I know how much l liked pushing you. I'm a bit confused, you said next Monday it's your turn...you're going to push yourself?!!

I miss you loads but you're very good and regularly pop up in my dreams.

Hi Tara
I'm so glad to hear everything went well with the measuring session. I don't know if you've heard yet about the South African athlete called Oscar Pistorius. He's a double amputee and last week he won his fight to run against able-bodied athletes at the Olympics. Oscar was born with no fibia bones and had his legs amputated when he was only 11 months old. Plus Natalie du Toit, who had a leg amputated as a result of an accident - is going to swim against able-bodied swimmers in the 10km swimming event! I think they're just amazing! Just like I think you are so amazing!
Have a lovely week at school!
Love you lots
Kim

Hullo!!

T, have you worked out how to do a 360 in your wheelchair? Bet you Dad has taught you that one!!

ONLY JOKING, don't bash me parentspanayis.

I think your new school is fabulous, is it close to home? When you think of St Hilda's though, the name makes me think of The Sound Of Music and a nun!!

Rozina TJ and Zak are in France where it is hot and LONDON IS COLD COLD COLD, I am grumpy today!

I miss you lovely thing, hope you're reading lots too.

Kiss to you from ME and MATTY (actually, I meant to say he sends lots of love to you too and remembers that really fun day in France when we walked MILES to get the bus!!).
